  • Great time again at the second mile 0 fest. Seems like your still working on getting a few “bugs” corrected in your system but nothing that wasn’t easily corrected in an hour. I caught the first and plan on intending the rest till I’m buried under 6 ft of Red Dirt!
I’m offering a suggestion for bookings on the 3rd in 2020. You are great in covering Texas, Austin in particular this year. I learned more about Oklahoma music last year than I will ever remember. The Oklahoma rivalry between Ok city, Tulsa, and Sweetwater among intendees was interesting. My suggestion is to look at John Prine as a headliner. A few bands this year covered him and he is an “Americana” genius out of Nashville. He has played Key West before. I saw him in 2004 and 2011(?) at the beautiful high school auditorium. I happened to meet his manager in 2004. He told me that prine and family vacation in KW every year and liked the small auditorium. This allowed them to pay for their vacation. Just a suggestion, I thought he might be a big draw. Thanks again for the great music.
