The Franklin Institute’s Terracotta Warriors Augmented Reality (AR) application is a companion experience for the Terracotta Warriors of the First Emperor exhibition at The Franklin Institute from September 30th, 2017 to March 4, 2018. This app allows the visitor to explore the ancient terracotta statues, digitally augmented holding weapons from the tomb of the First Emperor.

With the feature Mobile Warriors: Create Your Own Army, the app also allows you to digitally pose and create your own army of terracotta warrior statues wherever you are, take a screenshot and share that on social media!

The Terracotta Warriors of the First Emperor exhibition invites you to take a journey through one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in history: the tomb of Qin Shihuangdi, First Emperor of China, buried in 210 BCE.
