By bundling flights + hotel into a single-package cost, Upside gets access to unadvertised savings that range from 5-10% off regular published rates. Plus, every time you make a purchase, you’ll receive a gift card to your favorite retailer, typically worth $100-$200 on a domestic trip and much more on international trips.

Another Upside is that you keep all the hard-earned frequent flier miles and credit card points you’re entitled to with every trip. And don’t worry if there’s a change to your travel plans. Even after purchasing an Upside package, flights and rooms can be modified or cancelled just as if they had been purchased separately. (Airline and hotel rules apply.)

Upside App Details:

• Enter a few simple details about your trip (i.e., where you’re flying, desired departure/return dates and times, flight class, hotel type). Then, our advanced search engine goes to work – seeking out the 6 best flights and hotels that match your criteria and provide the most savings.

• Once you’ve selected the flights + hotel you like best, they are presented in an Upside Package and give you one package cost. We’ll also present you with Alternative Upside Packages – carefully-chosen options with slight variations (like leaving an hour earlier or staying at a different hotel) that give you even bigger savings and an ever bigger gift card. You can either choose to stay with your original Upside Package or select one of the Alternative Options. The choice is 100% yours.

• You’ll receive your gift card within 72 hours of completing your trip. The amount will accumulate in your Gift Card Hub. You can either save it there for later use, or redeem it for the gift card of your choice at 50+ retailers – from Amazon.com, to Home Depot, to Target.

• Your package price also includes access to our team of Upside Navigators. They are available 24/7 to provide top-quality customer service via phone, email, chat, or social on any issue, big or small.
