About Codewords

A crossword puzzle is encrypted and you have to uncover the original letters.

This is a different take on the classic codeword puzzles, also called code breaker word puzzles. If you are a fan of those, you'll find this game even more engaging. The puzzles are more compact, there are very few black squares in the puzzles. Also, if you enjoy cryptograms, this game will give you a fresh perspective on decipher puzzles.

When starting a new game, some of the letters are revealed. They are chosen in such a way that there can be only one solution. Encrypted letters all appear at least twice, so there are at least four words in which every letter appears.

For every puzzle solved there are points rewarded depending on the difficulty. You can use those points to reveal letters or to skip the current game.

By increasing your score you unlock larger puzzles. The larger puzzles are more challenging and have better rewards. After you get better, try to play with easy mode disabled, there are more points to be made, so you'll advance faster.
